The challenge

IONT tech needed three products that work as one: a public app where drivers find a charger and pay, a payment gateway certified by ČSOB that talks to the charger in real time, and an admin panel that runs offline inside each unit. As the only fullstack engineer, working with the firmware team, I took it from an empty repository to public launch.

What I owned

  • Public charging app

SvelteKit app where drivers find a charger, authorise it and follow the session live, designed mobile-first.

  • Payment gateway

Certified ČSOB integration with real-time charger communication, built with the firmware team to meet financial compliance requirements.

  • On-device admin panel

Offline-first panel on the charger’s Raspberry Pi for configuration and diagnostics, with a signed auto-update system for the fleet.

  • Infrastructure and delivery

Designed and deployed the whole environment as Docker Swarm microservices, with CI/CD pipelines and Linux server administration.
